Team Creation

Harford Community College Department of Computer Science has partnered with the Department of Social Science to create a fantastic web based exhibition around data gathered on civil rights. With the help of NEH and our later partners NFS S-STEM, our team was born. This marks the first collaboration of this scale for the Computer Science department.

Project Scope

Coordination amongst the vast talents quickly arose. The team was split into roles with different tasks. We Implemented an AGILE workspace environment to tackle timed goals. The project highlighted important aspects of corporations development processes such as efficiency, finance and work environment. The array of duties spanned between choosing the most affective web hosting service to agreement on the text fonts and sizes of the project.

Ready, Set, Publish

The team has reached its' final sprints, the quick edits are applied. However, this does not mark the last push of the repository. As with any technological development, maintenance is the key to uphold our focus mission. The experience encouraged creative innovations and explored dynamic problem solving techniques. Our results have been recognized within the college and most importantly the community.
